Water Resources Ministry Senior Secretary Kabir bin Anwar holding aloft the award at an event in the city on Saturday The Water Resources Ministry has achieved the Bangabandhu Public Administration Padak-2022 for its commendable contribution to the development administration, says a press release.
Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque handed over the award to Water Resources Ministry Senior Secretary Kabir bin Anwar on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the city on Saturday.
The PM joined the event virtually from her Ganobhaban residence. Different activities of the ministry include the reclamation of a total of 3417.25 hectares of land through dredging. The market value of the land is Tk 47.63 billion.
