The Women Empowerment Bangladeshi Canadian Organisation (WEBCO) recently organised a children's art exhibition at Khazana Mithai Restaurant in Scarborough, Canada, to encourage young artists and provide them with a platform to showcase their creativity.
The exhibition featured artwork, crafts and LEGO creations by children. A themed art competition was also held, with participants competing in three age-based groups.
The programme began with a welcome address by WEBCO Founder and President Taniza Reza, who underscored the importance of fostering creativity and self-confidence in children from an early age.
The competition was judged by professional artist Nasreen Sultana, who assessed the entries based on creativity, originality and artistic expression.
All participants received certificates and gift bags in recognition of their enthusiasm and creative efforts.
Winners were selected separately in each of the three age groups for both the art exhibition and the competition.
