Webinar on family business performance held

Chattogram Branch Council of ICMAB organised a webinar CPD on "Family Business performance" recently. Md. Anisuzzamn FCMA, FCA, Chairman, Chattogram Branch Council of ICMAB inaugurated the programme and Md. Jasim Uddin Akond FCMA, President, ICMAB joined as the chief guest.

Md. Anisuzzamn FCMA, FCA, Chairman, Chattogram Branch Council of ICMAB inaugurated the programme and introduced the commentator and paper presenter to the audience. Md. Jasim Uddin Akond FCMA, President, ICMAB joined as the chief guest of the programme.
Corporate Governance Officer, International Finance Corporation (IFC), Lopa Rahman joined as the commentator of the programme. The paper was presented by Muhammad Jahangir Alam ACMA, ACA, Director, Square Pharmaceuticals Limited.
Mohammed Nurul Huda Siddiquee FCMA, Chairman, CPD, Training & Workshop Committee, ICMAB, Chattogram Branch Council, delivered the welcome address.
Muhammad Jahangir Alam ACA, ACMA delivered his speech by pointing out the background, definition, description, generations and aggregate impact of family business. He also explained the scope and challenges of family business and how our professional accountants could play a significant role in that regard.
Ms. Lopa Rahman overviewed his thinking about the above-mentioned topic. She illustrated some points related to Impact of Family Business. ICMAB President highly praised that CBC had organised such a time suited programme regarding the above issue and emphasized how not only professionals but also all people of the country could play an important role to achieve the SDGs and Vision 2041 of government by starting family business.
A large number of fellow and associate members and students of ICMAB joined in the webinar. The whole programme was conducted by Shahidul Hoque, FCMA, Secretary, Chattogram Branch Council of ICMAB.
