Woori Bank MD arrives today

Kyong Hoon Park, Managing Director (MD) of Seoul-based Woori Bank, is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka today (Sunday) on a day-long visit. This is the first visit of such top official of the bank to Bangladesh, said an official of the bank in Dhaka. Woori Bank's operations in the country started in 1996. During his short stay, he is expected to meet senior officials of Woori Bank in Bangladesh. He is also scheduled to visit the bank's branches at Gulshan and Uttara in the capital. Woori Bank has five branches in Bangladesh -- three in Dhaka, one in Narayanganj and one in port city of Chittagong. He is expected to visit Bangladesh's National Parliament Building and National Museum at Shahbagh area in the city. Founded in 1899, the bank has over 15,000 employees globally.
