Banglalink and symphony partner for affordable 4G phone

In a joint initiative aimed at closing the digital gap and bringing 4G technology within reach of millions across Bangladesh, Banglalink and Symphony have launched the "My First 4G Phone" campaign. This campaign introduces the affordable Symphony EVO 10 model, priced at just BDT 2,250, and includes six months of free internet to make high-speed connectivity accessible to more people.

The Symphony EVO 10 is tailored to first-time internet users, combining affordability with reliable 4G performance. The handset enables users to experience Banglalink's fastest 4G network and enjoy clear, high-quality VoLTE calls. As part of the package, users receive a total of 9GB of free data over six months: 6GB for browsing and 3GB for Banglalink's entertainment app, Toffee. This data allocation allows customers to explore popular apps like Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Opera Mini, ensuring they can make the most of their new digital experience.

To kickstart their online journey, users need to dial 121701#, which grants an initial 4GB of data (1GB for general browsing and 3GB for Toffee streaming) valid for the first month. In the subsequent five months, dialing 121702# provides users with an additional 1GB of 4G data each month, ensuring sustained access to essential online resources and entertainment. This offer is open to both new and existing Banglalink subscribers, giving a broad range of people access to affordable 4G technology.

Commenting on the collaboration, Mehedi Al Amin, Banglalink's Marketing Operations Director, expressed enthusiasm about the potential impact of this campaign on digital accessibility in Bangladesh. Our goal is to enhance connectivity and support digital adaptation, especially for first-time users, by delivering superior service quality and a reliable device at an accessible price point," he said.

Echoing this sentiment, Symphony's Managing Director, Jakaria Shahid, emphasized the importance of reaching underserved communities. "We are delighted to collaborate with Banglalink on this fantastic campaign. We hope that through this initiative, our EVO 10 device and Banglalink's high-quality network will reach even more people across the country," he remarked.

The Symphony EVO 10 is a basic yet capable device designed for new users. Equipped with a 2.4-inch display, it comes with 48MB of RAM and 128MB of ROM, which can be expanded up to 32GB. The device also includes a 1500mAh battery and a digital camera with flash, and it can store up to 2,000 contacts. Notably, it supports popular apps like Facebook, YouTube, Opera Mini, and TikTok, giving users access to essential online experiences.

This VoLTE-enabled device is available for purchase at all Banglalink stores, partner outlets, and open channels across Bangladesh, while supplies last. Customers participating in other device campaigns must complete those before they can activate this offer, and eligible users will receive their bonus data within 48 hours.
