Banglalink and Toffee have launched the country's first telecom-powered retail OTT subscription initiative.
Under the initiative, customers of all mobile operators can subscribe to Toffee directly from local retail outlets without using credit cards, app stores or digital wallets.
The move aims to make digital entertainment more accessible, particularly for users without digital payment facilities.
Toffee offers live Bangladesh cricket matches alongside international content from Lionsgate and other global entertainment providers.
Banglalink Chief Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Officer Taimur Rahman said the initiative would help bridge the digital divide and expand access to premium entertainment.
