The first Bangla book on semiconductors, The Advancement of Technology: Semiconductors and Bangladesh's Potential, authored by Mohammad Enayetur Rahman, CEO and President of Ulkasemi, has been launched in Dhaka.
Published by Student-Ways, the book introduces semiconductor technology to the wider public beyond engineering students and teachers. It explains the basics, global importance, and future potential of semiconductors in Bangladesh, while offering a roadmap for
the industry's growth.

For students and professionals, it also provides guidance based on international experience.
At the launch, Rahman said Bangladesh could replicate the success of neighbouring countries if its talented students are supported. "This book is for everyone," he stressed.
The event was attended by Rozaimee Abdullah, First Secretary of the High Commission of Brunei; Md. Yousup Faruqu, Country Managing Director of Microsoft; Dr. Arifa Chowdhury Rahman, Chairperson of Ulkasemi; and academics from leading universities.
Ulkasemi, with 550 engineers, aims to transform Bangladesh's semiconductor industry into a multi-billion-dollar market by 2030.
