Robi Axiata PLC has expanded its Robi Elite lifestyle portfolio by onboarding 13 new premium partners, offering members discounts of up to 70 per cent across healthcare, travel, hotels, dining, entertainment and home services.
New partners include Labaid Cancer Hospital and Super Specialty Center, Generic Healthcare Limited, US-Bangla Airlines, Best Western SKS Chattogram, Best Western Heritage Cox's Bazar and Best Western Plus Maple Leaf, among others.
Memorandums of understanding were recently signed with the organisations. The signing ceremony was led by Md Showkat Kader Chowdhury, Head of Marketing. All offers will be available through the MyRobi app, enhancing year-round premium privileges for Elite members.

Ulkasemi marks 19 years with 1,000 chip tapouts
Ulkasemi celebrated its 19th anniversary on Wednesday, highlighting more than 1,000 successful chip tapouts and a workforce exceeding 600 engineers.
A pioneer in Bangladesh's semiconductor design industry, the company now supports advanced nodes from 180nm to 1.4nm, strengthening the country's position in the global deep-tech arena. Celebrations were held at its Dhaka design centres, inaugurated by CEO and President Mohammed Enayetur Rahman, alongside Chairperson Dr Arifa Chowdhury Rahman and senior officials.
Rahman said global supply chains are shifting in search of "Plus One" destinations, urging swift action to seize emerging opportunities.
Ulkasemi designs chips for AI-assisted CPUs and GPUs, mobile and IoT devices, servers and networking equipment. It is one of 32 global partners of the TSMC Design Center Alliance, underscoring Bangladesh's growing engineering credentials.

Kaspersky reports 15 per cent rise in malicious email attacks
Kaspersky has reported a 15 per cent year-on-year increase in malicious email attachments in 2025, with users facing more than 144 million harmful or potentially unwanted files.
Company telemetry shows that 44.99 per cent of global email traffic was spam, often carrying scams, phishing links or malware. The Asia-Pacific region recorded the highest share of email antivirus detections at 30 per cent, followed by Europe (21 per cent) and Latin America (16 per cent). China topped country-level detections at 14 per cent.
Detection activity peaked in June, July and November. The report highlights increasingly sophisticated phishing tactics, including QR code abuse, disguised links and business email compromise schemes.
Roman Dedenok, anti-spam expert at Kaspersky, warned that generative AI is enabling attackers to craft more convincing and personalised phishing campaigns at scale.
