Huawei launches industrial energy storage system

Huawei has introduced an advanced energy storage system (ESS) for Bangladesh's commercial and industrial sector.
The LUNA2000-241KWH-2S1 system aims to improve energy efficiency and stability for factories amid rising power challenges. Officials said it offers 91.3 per cent round-trip efficiency through hybrid cooling and features a dual-link safety architecture.
The system allows full depth of discharge and uses smart operation and maintenance to optimise performance.
Speaking at the launch, Huawei executives highlighted Bangladesh's growing solar transition and said their solutions have already helped generate over 430 million kWh of electricity while reducing emissions.
Industry experts at the event discussed renewable energy trends and the role of storage in strengthening industrial productivity.
