Robi confirms Ruhul Amin as chief financial officer

Robi Axiata PLC has appointed Ruhul Amin as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), confirming him in the role after he served as acting CFO from January 1 this year.
The company said Ruhul brings nearly 25 years of professional experience, including more than 14 years at Robi, with expertise in finance, strategy, governance, business transformation and analytics.
Before becoming CFO, he served as Chief Strategy Officer and held several senior finance positions within Robi and the Axiata Group. The company said he has played an important role in strengthening financial governance, supporting strategic transformation and driving analytics-based decision-making.
Robi Managing Director and CEO Ziad Shatara said Ruhul's leadership and deep understanding of the business would help strengthen the company's performance and long-term value creation.
Ruhul is a Fellow Chartered Accountant in Bangladesh and also holds CPA and CMA qualifications from Australia.
