TikTok removes 13.2 million Bangladesh videos in Q1

TikTok removed more than 13.2 million videos in Bangladesh during the first quarter of 2026 for violating its Community Guidelines, according to the platform's latest enforcement report.
The company said 13,218,004 videos were taken down between January and March, accounting for around 0.8 per cent of all content uploaded in Bangladesh. Of those, 99.6 per cent were detected proactively before being reported by users, while 94.4 per cent were removed within 24 hours. A total of 320,593 videos were later restored following review.
Globally, TikTok removed 184 million videos during the quarter and deleted more than 237.5 million comments. It also removed 86.3 million fake accounts and 25.8 million accounts suspected of belonging to users under 13.
The company said the report demonstrates its continued efforts to improve transparency and strengthen AI-powered content moderation worldwide.
