2,188 tonnes Boro rice procured in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA, June 29 (BSS): The procurement drive of Boro rice is going on satisfactorily in all four upazilas of the district.
The four upazilas are: Chuadanga Sadar, Alamdanga, Damurhuda and Jibannagar.
District Food Controller Office sources said a total of 2,188 metric tonnes of Boro rice have been procured from all the four upazilas of the district so far.
Of the total procured rice, 900 metric tonnes have been procured from Chuadanga Sadar upazila, 490 metric tonnes from Alamdanga upazila, 222 tonnes from Damurhuda upazila and 575 metric tonnes from Jibannagar upazila.
