Apparel factory to use LP gas of Bashundhara

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) will be used in the apparel industry of the country for the first time as the Bashundhara LP Gas Limited has signed an agreement with the Apparels Wet Processing Ltd., says a press release issued on Tuesday.

The apparel factory produces 65 thousand pieces of ready-made garment (RMG) a day.

Under the deal, the Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd. will provide the alternative fuel technical assistance for the apparel factory for the next 10 years. Bashundhara LP Gas will supply gas to the factory uninterruptedly by setting up a permanent bulk LPG tanker.

Bashundhara LP Gas is now supplying gas to more than 10 big industrial units.

The agreement signing ceremony was attended, among others, by Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd. Chief Financial Officer Mahbub Alam, COO for its Brand and Marketing MM Jasim Uddin, Head of HR Sad Tanvir, Apparels Wet Processing's Group Managing Director Md. Zillur Rahman, CEO Taslim Ahmed and Director Amit Kanti.
