BAEC Officers Association election held

Election to the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission Officers Association was held at the Commission's head office in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Md Golam Mahbub (Chief, Administration Division, Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant Construction Project) was elected president of the association and ATM Golam Kibria (Chief, Administration Division, BAEC, Dhaka) its general secretary. They were elected for a two-year term, says a press statement.

Other elected office-bearers are Mahmud Hossain -- senior vice president; Md Ajibur Rahman Molla -- vice president; Masud Rana Mondal -- treasurer; Mohammad Samsuddoha -- joint secretary; Munshi Maksud Rana (Nasim) -- cultural & sports secretary; Maruf Hossain -- office secretary; Md. Solaiman Mia -- information & publication secretary; Rozina Parveen -- women affairs secretary.

And the executive members are Md Habibur Rahman, Masud Al Azad, Md Abu Taher, Md Altaf Hossain and Saikat Ahmed.
