BARI Director General Dr. Md. Abdullah Yousuf Akhond inaugurated the workshop and delivered the welcome speech as the chief guest.
Director (Training and communication) Dr. Md. Ataur Rahman presided over the session while BARI Director (Support & Services) Dr. Ashraf Uddin Ahmed and Dr. T. S. Amjath Babu, Agricultural Economist, CIMIT-Bangladesh, were present as special guests.
About 25 scientists from different centers/sections of BARI were also present. Senior Scientific Officer (Training and Communication) Dr. Md. Imran Khan Chowdhury coordinated the workshop.
