BARI hosts Farmers' Experience Exchange Visit in Gazipur

Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) organised a 'Farmers' Experience Exchange Visit' at the Vegetable Division's research field under its Horticulture Research Centre in Gazipur on Sunday. The programme was held as part of the 'Development of Vegetable Breeding Technology in Asia Region (AFACI)' project. Dr Faruk Ahmed, director of the Horticulture Research Centre, attended the event as chief guest, while Dr A.K.M. Quamruzzaman, head of the Vegetable Division and chief scientific officer, presided over the programme. The session was conducted by Dr Md Mahabubar Rahman Selim, PSO of the division. Fifty tomato-growing farmers from Gazipur actively took part in the exchange visit.
