CHICAGO, June 17 (Xinhua) :  Chicago agricultural commodities dropped across the board Monday, led by corn.
The most active corn contract for July delivery fell 6 cents, or 1.34 per cent, to close at 4.41 US dollars per bushel.  July wheat dropped 5 cents, or 0.85 per cent, to close at 5.81 dollars per bushel. July soybeans lost 4 cents, or 0.28 per cent, to close at 14.2175 dollars per bushel.
Weekly grain export inspections showed that US exported 43.4 million bushels of corn, 7.9 million bushels of soybeans and 14.6 million bushels of wheat last week. For respective marketing years to date, US exporters have shipped 1,415 million bushels of corn, 1,560 million bushels of soybeans, and 28 million bushels of wheat.
The data is neutral to corn and wheat, while weekly soybean export shipments need to average just 3 million bushels to meet the 2013-2014 target of US Department of Agriculture (USDA).
US National Oilseed Processors Association reported May soybean crush at 128.8 million bushels, which curbed soybeans fall somehow. Nevertheless, the market thinks that the 2013-2014 soybean crop was underestimated. Warmer and drier weather is expected across Northern Plains and Northern Midwest in the United States in latter half of June, which is needed after excessive rainfall in the first half of June.
