On the back of its successful debut project on environmental protection, Emirates has announced the continuation of its 'A Greener Tomorrow' initiative for a second year.
A press release issued to this effect says under the initiative, the Dubai-based airlines group will allocate $0.15million as a support for environmental or conservation-based not-for-profit organisations in safeguarding their local environment. Funds for 'A Greener Tomorrow' have been raised through internal recycling programmes across the Emirates Group.
Application forms must be submitted before 10 April 2015. More information about the initiative and nomination criteria is available at: www.emirates.com/greenertomorrow.
Those who are interested to nominate an organisation for the award can also send the organisation's name, email address and contact telephone number to greenertomorrow@emirates.com.
