Fish fry released in M’singh

MYMENSINGH, June 29 (BSS): Bangladesh Police Service Association has taken up a programme to release fish fry in open water bodies in the district to increase fish output to meet the demand of protein.

Under the programme, Gouripur and Ishwarganj thana police released fish fry in the open water bodies here today.

Officers in Charge (OC) of Gouripur Thana Mohammad Ali at a simple ceremony released 25,000 fish fry in Katia Kuri Beel under Ramgopalpur union of the upazila.

The function was presided over by Zahiruddin Master. It was addressed, among others, by UP Chairman Aminul Islam, President of Upazila Community Policing Shafiqul Islam and Secretary Delwar Hossain.
