General Electric Manufacturing (GEM Plant) Co Ltd, a government-owned organisation of Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Company (BSEC), signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Confidence Electromech Ltd (CEML), at its Patenga office in Chittagong recently for producing pre-paid electric meters. BSEC secretary Dr Md Amirul Momin and CEML Managing Director Akhtaruzzaman signed the MoU with GEM Managing Director Engr Md Fakhrul Islam in the chair.
