The Gas Transmission Company Limited (GTCL) held its 30th annual general meeting (AGM) at the company's head office in the city recently.
Energy and Mineral Resources Division Secretary and GTCL Chairman Md. Nurul Alam presided over the meeting.
GTCL Director and Petrobangla Chairman Zanendra Nath Sarker and other shareholders and directors were also present, says the company in a statement.
The AGM approved the audited financial statement for the fiscal year 2022-23.
The company earned over Tk 10.61 billion (1061.67 crore) in revenue in the last fiscal year. Of the amount, it earned Tk 10.56 billion by supplying 21.76 billion (2176 crore) cubic metres of gas through the national grid and 164.6 million (1646 lakh) litres of condensate through the condensate pipeline. It earned Tk 50.9 million from other sources.
The company paid over Tk 5.33 billion (533 crore) to the public exchequer.
