Interior Design Award 2024 announced

The Interior Designers Association of Bangladesh (IDAB) will organise "IDAB Excellence in Interior Design Award 2024" in November for the first time, reports UNB.

The organisers shared the comprehensive planning of the event at a press briefing at Biswa Sahitya Kendra on Saturday.

General Secretary of the organisation Sayed Kamrul Ahsan said those who want to participate with their project will have to submit their entries within August 31 and interested participants will have to fill out a form available on the website.

He also said that no watermark or logo will be allowed in the project submissions.

The judges will evaluate the designs based on their impact, adherence to local traditions, environmental consciousness, and the quality of colour usage while selecting the winners.

Any Bangladeshi interior designer, architect, or licensed entity can participate without any fees.

Shafiul Islam, the director of the organization, said the winning projects will qualify to compete in the Asia-Pacific Space Designer Association for Asia's Best.
