Matin joins IIBL as CEO

Md Abdul Matin has recently taken over as Chief Executive Officer (Managing Director) of Islami Insurance Bangladesh Limited (IIBL) with the approval of Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA), said a statement.

Prior to joining the post, he was Additional Managing Director of IIBL. He started his career in 1990 and served the Central Insurance Company Limited, Bangladesh Co-Operative Insurance Company Ltd and Northern General Insurance Company Ltd before joining the IIBL.

Abdul Matin obtained Masters Degree from the Dhaka University. Moreover, he successfully participated in various seminar, symposium and training programmes on Islamic insurance.
