More demand, less withdrawals observed

There was more demand this week particularly from the Blenders which was resulted in less withdrawals. Good liquoring varieties were again well supported with few lines selling above Tk 200 per kg. Loose tea buyers only lent some support. All good liquoring Dusts were a lower market following less competition, Brokers Limited press release said.
CTC LEAF: 25,496 packages and 1,856 packages of old season tea on offer met with an improved demand at slightly easier rates.
BROKENS: Good liquoring smaller Brokens once again met with a good demand but were slightly easier and those were sold between Tk 188 and Tk 195. All others were also an easier market with the plainer continuing to be neglected.
FANNINGS: Good liquoring Fannings also met with a good demand at around last levels and these were sold between Tk 188 and Tk 195.
CTC DUST:  5,146 packages and 321 pa:;kages of old season tea on offer once again met with a fairly good demand but at easier rates. Good liquoring RDs/Ds eased by upto Tk 5 and sometimes more. Others eased further by upto Tk 10 and sometimes more for the CDs. Blenders lent fairly good support with some interest from the Loose tea buyers.
