More interest observed from Loose tea and export buyers

Offerings again comprised of end of season quality. Blenders were very selective but there was a little more interest from the Loose tea and Export buyers. Dusts witnessed slightly improved demand with less withdrawals, National Brokers Limited press release said.

CTC LEAF: 15,778 packages of tea on offer met a slightly improved demand but at mostly easier rates.

BROKENS/FANNINGS: All grades were again a lower market easing by up to Tk 10 and sometimes more. There was more interest for the plainest varieties which witnessed less withdrawals.

CTC DUST: 2,248 packages of tea on offer met with a little more demand, All grades were again a lower market easing by Tk 5 to Tk 10. There was some competition for the plainest varieties. There were less withdrawals this week. Loose tea buyers lent more support with some interest from the Blenders.
