Potato production target exceeded in Jamalpur

JAMALPUR, Mar 19 (BSS): Due to favourable weather potato production

in the district has exceeded the production target in the current Robi season.

According to Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) Office sources a total of 90,008 tonnes of potato has produced on 4,283 hectares of land against the production target of 83,300 tonnes from 4,265 hectares.

DAE office said, the farmers of the districts have got the yield due to favourable weather and using of balanced fertilizer.
