According to the recent statistics of Bikroy.com, there were about 11,000 advertisements of apartments in Dhaka city posted in April 2014. The most popular areas are Uttara and Mirpur where the number of advertisements is 2,000 and 1,500 respectively, according to a statement issued by Bikroy.com.
In January earlier this year, the total number of property advertisements for sale was 20,500. In April 2014, the number of advertisements had grown by about 10% to 22,500.
