Rupali Ins AGM approves 10pc cash dividend

The 32nd Annual General Meeting was held online on Tuesday in the city. Mostafa Golam Quddus, Chairman of the Company, presided over the meeting, says a statement.
Shareholders congratulated Chief Executive Officer P. K. Roy for improving the performances of the company.
They also praised the Annual Reports in their speeches as the company earned before-tax profit of Tk. 168.20 million in 2019. The Board of Directors declared 10 per cent cash dividend for all the shareholders, which was approved unanimously by the shareholders in the AGM.
Directors including Quazi Moniruzzaman, Fazlutun Nessa, Mostafa Quamrus Sobhan, Abu Hena, Sheikh Mohammad Danial, Md. Shamsul Huda, Shaon Ahmed, Md. Obaidul Huque, Shafia Sobhan Chowdhury and Tasnia Quamrun Anika alongwith P. K. Roy, FCA, Chief Executive Officer; Mohd. Alamgir, Additional Managing Director; Fauzia Quamrun Tania, Additional Managing Director; Md. Zahirul Islam, Additional Managing Director; Sujoy Kumar Biswas, FCA, Chief Financial Officer; and A. S. M Rashed, Company Secretary, were among others present.
