Shippers Council distributes blankets

At the initiative of the Shippers' Council of Bangladesh (SCB), members of the Board of Directors and officers have distributed about 9,000 blankets among the cold-stricken, low-income people across the country since the beginning of the winter season.
The blankets were distributed in different parts of Dhaka, Chittagong, Narayanganj, Barishal, Khulna, Chapainawabganj, Feni, Chuadanga, Hatiya, Kishoreganj, Cumilla, Gopalganj, Magura, Gazipur and Natore.
Many orphanages and madrasas also received blankets during the distribution, says a press statement.
