SHOWKAT AZIZ ELECTED PRESIDENT OF PURBACHAL CLUB

Showkat Aziz Russell, Chairman and Managing Director of Amber Group, and President of Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA), was elected as President of Purbachal Club Limited on Friday. Outgoing acting president Mozaharul Haque Shahid officially handed over the charge to Showkat Aziz at the club's premises on 300 Feet Road in Dhaka on Saturday. Ashrafuzzaman Khan, President of Dhaka Club Limited, Rubel Aziz, President of Banani Club Limited, Nasir U Mahmood, President of Dhaka Boat Club Limited, Anowar Rashid, President of Gulshan Club Limited, Faruque Ahmed, President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and Aziz Al Kaiser, Chairman of City Bank PLC.,were present at the event, says a press release.
