Technical seminar on 'Pioneering Green Cement'

INSEE Cement organised a technical seminar titled 'Pioneering Green Cement' at a hotel in Chattogram recently, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable construction.

The summit featured insightful discussions by industry leaders, including Petr Dobry, Head of Group Products and Technical Solutions from Siam City Cement PLC, Thailand; Mahmud Hasan, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Dr Kanthasat Boontem, Director of Operations, and GMG Mustafa, GM of Quality & Raw Materials of SCCBD.
The event also saw participation from senior officials of INSEE Cement Bangladesh, including Commercial Director Mohammad Abu Sayeed, Adviser Syed Abu Abed Saher.
A highlight of the session was the address by Professor Dr Tanvir Manzur from the Department of Civil Engineering, BUET, who emphasised the urgent need for green cement solutions in mitigating the effects of global warming and ensuring environmental sustainability.
Chief & Additional Chief Engineers and Executive Engineers from government organisations such as Roads and Highways, LGED, WASA, and PWD, consultants and engineers of renowned local firms, business concerns and real estate companies in Chattogram took part in the conference.
With a clear vision for sustainability, INSEE Cement continues to lead the way in innovative, eco-friendly cement solutions, setting new benchmarks in the construction industry in Bangladesh, the statement added.
