Turkish Food Festival begins in city

An inaugural ceremony of a ten-day Turkish Food Festival in progress at the Water Garden Brasserie Restaurant (Lobby Level) in the city Thursday last.
A ten-day Turkish Food Festival organised by the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel Dhaka began at the Water Garden Brasserie Restaurant (Lobby Level) in the city Thursday last, says a press release.
Brig General Jahangir Alam, Managing Director, Sena Hotel Developments Ltd, Hüseyin Müftüoglu, Ambassador of Turkey, Madhurapochana Ittarong, Ambassador of Thailand were present at the opening ceremony.
Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel Dhaka offers the opportunity to indulge in tongue wagging Turkish cuisine such as kebabs, koftes, stuffed dolmas (and many more) along with intoxicatingly sweet delicacies like the signature Baklava, Revani, Lokma etc.
The festival is opened for buffet dinner and set lunch. Guests can enjoy this mouth-watering cuisine until November 8, 2014
Turkish Airline is sponsoring two round trip tickets (Dhaka-Turkey-Dhaka) as the Grand Prize whereas popular cafes like North End Coffee Roasters and Baristas are supporting by endowing premium Turkish Mocha. Popular daily newspaper Dhaka Tribune, Daily Somokal and Ekattor Television are co-operating the festival as media partners. Apart from mouth watering Turkish delicacies, there will be something in store for everyone. The restaurant will encompass oriental Turkish decor, aimed to provide the notion of a Turkish Bazaar the minute one set foot inside, with colorful lights and typical handicrafts and artifacts.
