Walton Day celebrated

Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC Chairman SM Nurul Alam Rezvi, Vice-Chairman SM Shamsul Alam and Director SM Mahbubul Alam along with other officials cut a giant cake marking the Walton Day at its corporate office in Dhaka on Sunday.

The Walton Day, marking the foundation day of the Bangladeshi electronics brand, was celebrated around the world on Sunday in a festive mood, says a press release.
Various colourful programmes were arranged at all Walton offices at home and abroad and its sales outlets and service centres. On the occasion, Walton authorities also announced the highest amount of profit-share for its employees.
Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC Chairman SM Nurul Alam Rezvi inaugurated the day's events by hoisting the national flag and Walton flag at its corporate office in Dhaka. Vice-Chairman SM Shamsul Alam and Director SM Mahbubul Alam were present.
Walton Hi-Tech Industries Managing Director and CEO Golam Murshed also launched the 'Walton Day' celebrations by hoisting the national flag and Walton flag at its headquarters in Chandra, Gazipur, at the same time.
Various socio-cultural events, including tree plantation and rallies, were held to mark the Walton Day.
Golam Murshed declared 2022 as Walton's 'Efficient Year'. He also launched the new website of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC during the event.
