1,453 ADP projects implemented in last fiscal: planning minister

Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal Monday told the Jatiya Sangsad that a total of 1,453 projects under Annual Development Progarmme (ADP) were implemented during the 2014-15 fiscal year, reports BSS.

"The total allocation was Tk 778.42 billion (Tk 77,842 crore) for these projects. Of those, Tk 501billion (Tk 50,100 crore) was from the government fund, Tk  249 billion (Tk 24,900 crore) as project assistances and the rest Tk 28.42 billion( Tk 2,842crore) from own finance," he said while replying to a query of treasury bench member Nurun Nabi Chowdhury Shaon in the House.

The planning minister said the progress of ADP implementation over the last 11 months till May 2015 was Tk 51,997 crore, representing about 67 per cent of total ADP's allocation.

"Some 324 projects have been kept for completion in 2014-15 fiscal year's ADP, including 281 investment projects, 10 JDCF (Japan Debt Cancellation Fund) and 30 technical assistance projects," he added.
