34 cos get e-Commerce Movers Awards

Winners of e-Commerce Movers Award (eCMA) 2023 pose at the award giving ceremony organised by the e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB) at a city hotel on Thursday. Parliament Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury was present as the chief guest.

The e-Commerce Asso-ciation of Bangladesh (e-CAB) held the e-Commerce Movers Award (eCMA) 2023 ceremony at a city hotel on Thursday.

The ceremony, a beacon for digital commerce excellence, recognised and celebrated the leading players in the Bangladeshi e-commerce industry, says a press release.

At the event, 34 reputed companies were awarded across 27 categories selected from nearly 200 applications through an impartial judgment process, spotlighting the diverse and dynamic nature of e-commerce.

Among the awardees, Daraz Bangladesh Limited was named the Best e-Commerce Marketplace, Foodpanda emerged as the Best Food Delivery Platform, bKash Limited stood out as Best MFS Platform, and The City Bank secured the accolade for Best Banking Solution for e-Commerce.

Other winners included Walton, Uber, Aarong, Mastercard, Sharetrip, and 10 Minute School.

Also, United Commercial Bank, Chaldal, Rokomari, ShopUp, Pickaboo, Eastern Bank, Bikroy, ekShop, SteadFast, Nagad, Sheba XYZ, Shajgoj, Arogga, Fashol, BATA, Ribana, Singer, Upay, Pathao, Digibox, SkyTech, Laalsobuj, Women & e-Commerce & Brain Station 23 were awarded.

The gala was attended by Parliament Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury as the chief guest. Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, Minister for Post and Telecommunication Mustafa Jabbar, State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak and Advisor of e-CAB Nahim Razzak, MP were also present.

e-CAB President Shomi Kaiser, General Secretary Muhammad Abdul Wahed Tomal, and Director and e-CMA Convener Khondoker Tasfin Alam were also present.
