A three-day four international exhibitions named 13th Power Bangladesh 2014, 8th Solar Bangladesh 2014, 17th Con expo Bangladesh 2014 and 11th Re- power Bangladesh 2014 will begin from November 13 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC).
This was announced at a press conference at the National Press Club on Monday. CEMS (Conference and Exhibition Management Services Ltd) Global will organise the expos.
Prime minister's adviser for power, energy and mineral resources affairs Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury will inaugurate all the fairs as chief guest.
Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) President Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed and American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham)
President Aftab ul Islam are expected to attend the inaugural ceremony as special guests.
The three- daylong expos will focus on power generation, transmission, alternative power, solar power, energy, renewable energy, construction materials for real estate sector, its method and equipment.
These exhibitions will bring together under one roof all stakeholders in power, solar, renewable power and construction materials under B2B platform and a significant leap into the country's concern sectors is possible by close interaction between the exhibitors and local entrepreneurs.
Participants from Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom and the United States of America will join the fairs.
There will be around 150 stalls at the fairs. The expos will remain open from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm everyday. There will be no entry fee for the visitors, but they have do register their names.
CEMS Global USA and Asia Pacific President and group managing director Meherun N Islam, CEMS Global USA and Asia Pacific group Chief Executive Officer SS Sarwar and Rahimafrooz Renewable Energy Ltd general manager Nitai Pada Saha were present at the press conference.
