A free thalassemia carrier screening in association with FSIBL and ideSHi

A free thalassemia carrier screening and awareness camp was held in association with First Security Islami Bank Ltd. and the Institute for Developing Science and Health Initiatives (ideSHi) at Matlab North Upazila Health Complex in Chandpur recently. Dr Firdausi Qadri, recipient of Ramon Magsaysay Award 2021, and Lead, Institute for Developing Science and Health Initiatives, Dr Akhtaruzzaman Juyel, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, Dr Sharmin Jahan, COO, ideSHI, were present in the programme.
