Abdul Matin new BGCCI executive director

Mohammed Abdul Matin, a veteran development and trade promotion expert, has been appointed as the executive director of the Bangladesh German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BGCCI), the country's largest bilateral chamber. Abdul Matin has 42 years of experience working for national and international organisations in Bangladesh. He had been the executive director of Foreign Investors' Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) for nine years. Abdul Matin started his career as a banker in 1968. He also worked for the United Nations Children's Fund, Bangladesh Population & Health Consortium, Plan International, ICDDR,B, NMIDP and Danish Advisory Group.He has extensive experience in programme, administration and macro-management of development projects in public sectors.
