ACI Pure Flour has organised a seminar on 'Evolution of Baking Industry of Bangladesh' at the ACI Centre in the capital recently, says a statement.

ACI Pure Flour organised the seminar, titled 'Bake it Best', with the joint collaboration of the High Commission of Canada and the Canadian International Grains Institute (CIGI).

'Bake it Best' showcased Bangladesh's baking industry on 27 September 2018 at ACI Centre with the joint collaboration of High Commission of Canada and Canadian International Grains Institute (CIGI).

ACI Pure Flour Managing Director Syed Alamgir inaugurated the event. Business Director Anup Kumar Saha, Business Manager Moinur Rahman, General Manager, Institution sales, Abanti Kumar Sarker and Counselor (Commercial Affairs) and senior Trade Commissioner, High Commission of Canada Corinne Petrisor were present.

Representatives from the country’s leading bakeries, confectionaries, hotels, restaurants, including, Olympic Industries Ltd., Orient Food Co., Nestle Bangladesh Limited, Haque Brothers Ltd., Kollol Thai President Foods, Pran RFL Group, New Zealand Dairy Products BD Ltd., Deko Foods, Globe Biscuits & Dairy Milk Ltd, Square Food & Beverage Ltd., DAN Cake, Nabisco Biscuit and Bread Factory, Romania Food and Beverage, participated in the seminar and shared their views with the experts and asked their queries.

Senior Advisor (Technology) Ashok K Sarkar, Head of Asian Products and Pasta Technology Esey Assefaw, Head of Analytical Services Kristina Pizzi and Technician (milling technology) Norbert Cabral shared their knowledge and experiences with the participants.
