AKS sets a new global benchmark for the steel industry. The achievement has earned AKS official recognition from Guinness World Records as the record holder for "Most Steel Rebars Produced in One Minute."
This achievement reinforces AKS's position as a global leader in steel manufacturing while showcasing Bangladesh's growing industrial capability, engineering excellence, and world-class manufacturing standards on the international stage, says a press release.
As part of the officially verified record attempt, AKS produced 52 steel rebars in just one minute, with each rebar measuring 108 metres in length. The achievement was made possible through the capabilities of the world's Fastest Rebar Rolling Mill, supported by advanced manufacturing technology, precision engineering, and highly efficient production operations.
