Ambiente Frankfurt ends

The five-day 'Ambiente Frankfurt', organised by Messe Frankfurt, ended in the German city on Tuesday, says a statement.

Bangladesh Commercial Counselor in Germany Md Saiful Islam visited the show on the concluding day and attended each Bangladeshi stand and appreciated their products showcased at the Ambiente 2020.

A total of three officials from the Ministry of Textiles and Jute of Bangladesh attended the Ambiente, the leading international trade exhibition and the world's number one in products associated with dining, cooking, household items, furnishings and ornaments, interior design, gifts, jewelry and fashion accessories.

Lokman Hossain Miah, Secretary - Ministry of Textiles and Jute, Mohammad Abul Kalam, Additional Secretary of the same ministry and Emdadul Haque, Assistant Private Secretary to the Textiles and Jute Minister were present at the five-day fair where around 4,500 exhibitors from 92 countries attended. Over 1, 36,000 buyers also visited the exhibition.

Bangladesh has been participating in Ambiente for many years and a number of industries have been developed from this fair such as ceramics and jute products.
