Necessary amendment to the Code of Civil Procedure (CPC) is underway to support the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in order to remove legal hassles in business, Finance Minister AMA Muhith said in his budget speech Thursday.
"In order to remove legal hassles and its possible consequences in business we have introduced ADR," the finance minister said.
"And we have incorporated necessary rules and regulations in Income Tax, VAT and Customs Acts. In addition, relevant sections of the Code of Civil Procedure are being amended," he added.
He further said, "We have introduced automation in the judicial system and also in the delivery of services for processing exports and imports to infuse momentum into trade and business."
