CHITTAGONG, Nov 8: Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank will observe Customer Service and Recovery Month in December this year.
Newly-appointed Managing Director of the bank Mohammad Shams-Ul Islam made the declaration while speaking as the chief guest at a daylong workshop of branch managers and field officials of Chittagong region of the bank in Chittagong today.
Deputy General Manager (Loans, Advance and Recovery) Md Mahabbat Ullah was present at the workshop as the special guest, while Regional Manager Mohammad Ali presided over it.
In his address, the managing director advised every official and employees of the bank to make all out efforts for augmenting customer services and recovery of loan in December.
He also stressed the need for ensuring maximum customer service and recovery of the defaulted loan quickly.
The managing director reiterated the role of the bank in poverty alleviation of about six million Ansar & VDP members in the country and said to make the bank's programmes successful everybody must take challenge and should address that challenge accordingly.
He also advised all to work hard with honesty and sincerity to make programmes of the bank more dynamic and expansion-oriented.
To provide services of the bank each upazila should be covered by at least a branch as early as possible, he added.
