Apex Footwear Limited (AFL) has honoured its employees who have served with the company for more than two decades, the shoemaker said.
The recognition coincided with the celebration of the company's silver jubilee at the factory premises in Gazipur on March 16, the company said in a statement.
More than 9,000 workers, staff and stakeholders of Apex attended the day-long festivities arranged to commemorate this "important" milestone.
The event was attended by the chairman of AFL Syed Manzur Elahi, managing director Syed Nasim Manzur, director Munize Manzur and chairman of BATB and independent director of Apex Golam Mainuddin and the entire management team.
The celebrations began with the lunch for all 9,000 staffers of the Apex, followed by a special programme to honour and recognise the loyal workers and staff members.
This was followed by a cultural programme performed by factory workers and concluded with enthralling performances by artists Porshi, Palash, Juma and Imran.
