Automatic brick manufacturing project to be set up in Gazipur

Infrastructure Develop-ment Company Limited (IDCOL) and Pretty Auto Bricks Limited (PABL) signed a Tk 337.67 million 'Term Loan Facility' agreement to set up an automatic brick manufacturing project at Kapashiya, Gazipur.

Executive director & CEO of IDCOL Mahmood Malik and Chairman of PABL Mohammad Ali Talukder inked the deal on behalf of their respective organisations at a city hotel on Monday, said a press statement.

This is the second project under IDCOL's endeavour to promote energy efficient technology and reduce pollution in brick manufacturing sector.

It may be mentioned that IDCOL has a plan to invest Tk 4.0 billion to ensure the efficient transition to environment friendly technology from the primitive polluting ones in the brick manufacturing sector.
