Avnet India gets 'Great Workplace' recognition

Avnet India, the largest component distributor in India, has been certified as a Great Workplace for the second consecutive year.

The recognition was based on a rigorous assessment by Great Place to Work® Institute, considered the Gold standard in workplace culture assessment and recognition globally, according to a Media OutReach forwarded statement received on Wednesday.

As part of the assessment, Great Place to Work Institute consolidated feedback from Avnet India's employees and measured their perceptions using Great Place to Work's proprietary framework, Trust Index© that surveys employees anonymously.

Participating companies were evaluated on several factors such as: credibility of the management, respect for people, fairness at workplace, workplace culture etc.

Avnet India scored an overwhelming 80 per cent or higher in all criteria listed by Great Place to Work based on employees' surveys.
