Bangladesh Krishi Bank gets new MD

Md. Ali Hossain Prodhania has joined Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) as Managing Director (MD) recently. Prior to his joining, he was the Deputy Managing Director of Agrani Bank Limited. He started his banking career in Agrani Bank as Probationary Officer in 1986. Mr. Prodhania completed graduation with honours in Finance from Dhaka University and did masters from the same university. In his career, he performed responsibilities as branch manager, head of different important departments of head office in Agrani Bank. He had been the Head of Treasury, Head of ID, Circle General Manager, CAMLCO and DMD of Principal Branch. He was the CEO of Agrani Exchange House in Singapore from 2008 to 2014. He is the Chairman of Technical Committee of Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers' Association (BAFEDA). He took part in various trainings and seminars at home and abroad. He hails from Chandpur district. — Statement
