Banglalink launches eSIM

Banglalink, one of the leading mobile phone operators in Bangladesh, has launched eSIM to further simplify its customers' digital lifestyles.
The smart solution is expected to enable the customers to avail its digital communications services without having to use a physical SIM card.
The eSIM was launched at a ceremony held at the Banglalink Centre in Dhaka on Thursday.
Upanga Dutta, Chief Commercial Officer of Banglalink, Taimur Rahman, Chief Corporate & Regulatory Affairs Officer of Banglalink, and other senior executives were present at the event.
eSIM will provide Banglalink customers with the facility to enjoy connectivity with more convenience and safety.
They will be able to use two profiles simultaneously on their eSIM-enabled devices. A physical SIM can be used along with an eSIM as well.
Banglalink customers with eligible devices can migrate to eSIM by visiting any Banglalink Centre in the country.
Mr Dutta said, "As part of our digital operator strategy, we strive to simplify our customers' digital lifestyles with smart solutions. eSIM will give them an opportunity to remain connected and use our digital services in a more hassle-free way. The introduction of this service also demonstrates our continuous effort to bring state-of-the-art facilities for ensuring superior customer experience."
