The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has ordered the seizure of the bank accounts of formar home minister Asaduzzaman Khan, his wife Lutful Tahmina Khan, and their son and daughter, reports bdnews24.com.
The BFIU issued the order on Tuesday.
According to the BFIU directive, all personal and business accounts in the name of Khan, his wife, his son Safi Mudassir Khan and daughter Safia Tasnim Khan have been suspended.
The letter also includes the names and national ID numbers of Khan and his family.
The BFIU instructed banks and financial institutions to send account-related information or documents, such as account opening forms, KYC and transaction statements, to them within three working days from the date of the letter in the case of suspension of an account.
