Bangladesh Bank (BB) has announced new banking hours that align with the government's new office schedule effective from June 19, reports UNB.
After Eid-ul-Azha, bank transactions and office activities will continue according to the new schedule.
The BB circular stated that from June 19, the bank transactions will start at 10 am and continue till 4 pm.
The bank's office activities will be open from 10 am to 6 pm. There will be weekend holidays on Friday and Saturday.
Currently bank transactions are from 10 am to 3:30 pm. The bank's office is open from 10 am to 5 pm.
Accordingly, according to the new schedule, bank transactions will run for half an hour more and offices for one hour more.
